Ark Care Principles is committed to supporting vulnerable young people with complex care needs. Our senior team consists of a Director, qualified nurse and social worker. We have combined our years of experience working with vulnerable people to create a safe haven where young people that are moving from Transition to Independence will have the opportunity to learn the skills to help them in the future.

As an organisation, we are committed to ensuring that we have a wide range of services and resources available to meet the individuals needs of our young people. We offer supported housing and independent living accomodation for young people transitioning or for families seeking respite care.

OUR SERVICES

Supported Housing

Our experienced team is available 24/7 so the young people can get support whenever they need it. This is particularly important for those with complex needs and mental health issues. We have housing available in Derby and Leicester, with other areas coming very soon.

SUPPORTED HOUSING

Respite Care

The respite care is available for all young people with complex needs, including learning disabilities and mental health problems. The team are fully qualified to deal with a range of complex cases and do their best to make everyone feel at home quickly.

Integral to this our approach of working in partnership with local authorities, the NHS, families and other skilled professionals to ensure that as a multi-agency team, we achieve the best possible outcomes.

Ark Care Principles

Are you a young person aged between 16-25 looking for a comfortable place to live? Or are you social worker that supports young people during transition? If so then we can help by offering supported housing and respite care that will meet your needs.

We understand that the transition from school to adult life can be an exciting but also challenging time for young people and their parents. There are lots of choices that need to be made and finding a safe place to live with people of your own age will be your number one priority.

We offer a 16+ Transition to Independence Service that can be commissioned by young people, families or professionals working alongside them.

The vulnerable young people that come to stay with us vary in the levels skills for living independently. From those needing minimum supervision, such as Looked After Children moving out of care to young people with learning disabilities and those with mental health problems.

Our team are fully trained to support young people and work closely with the families and social workers to ensure that all aspects of the Care Plan are met. We have supported housing and respite care facilities available in Derby and Leicester.

We are registered with Ofsted and aim to offer a secure and comfortable environment for our young people.
